The 9th grade and secondary students of Lugar Presente Dance School and the Emídio Navarro Secondary School (with or without dance training) will participate during 2019 and 2020 in the Five Days to Dance project. During three weeks of intensive dance activities, they will explore themes such as violence against children, democratic participation of children and basic rights of children, together with 12 German students and 12 Spanish students of the same educational levels. These activities are directed by the German dance company De Loopers Tanztheater.
Objectives: aesthetic and artistic education; cultural and linguistic education; raise awareness of issues related to discrimination and exclusion and, if possible, promote some changes in school communities.
Schools involved in the project: Lernhaus im Campus (Osterholz-Scharmbeck, Bremen, Germany); Colegio Juan Comenius (Valencia, Spain); Dance School Lugar Presente / Emídio Navarro Secondary School (Viseu, Portugal).

Participants Students of the articulated dance teaching at the Lugar Presente dance school / Emídio Navarro Secondary School with 12 German students and 12 Spanish students (who should be accommodated in the homes of Portuguese students' families).
Schedule From Monday to Thursday: participation in dance activities and creation of a choreography on the themes of children's rights; Friday: Public presentation (choreography).
Presentation at Teatro Viriato -

About Five Days to Dance "si las personas pueden bailar juntas, pueden vivir juntas" The projects included in Five Days to Dance have a duration of five days, during which there is an intensive work around dance, preferably during school hours.
