WHO WE ARE
The Dance School Lugar Presente is a private institution of artistic teaching located in Viseu. We began our activity in 2005 and we are authorized to operate by the Regional Education Directorate of the Center / Ministry of Education since 2011, being the Cooperative Lugar Presente Dance School, CRL its titular entity.
The activity of Lugar Presente Dance School has as its main objective the development of training programs in the area of Dance, namely the Dance Initiation course and the Basic and Secondary Dance Course for children and adolescents who attend school, in Viseu region.
At the same time, this school also promotes Free Courses of various dance disciplines as well as theater, in addition to workshops and holidays ateliers, artistic residencies and presentations for all types of audiences, from the age of 3.

Because we believe that artistic education is a vital component in the construction of identity and consciousness of any complete human being - despite the increasing adversity surrounds us - we persist in the development of this project, with the ambition to participate in the construction of an ever better world, where art and culture remain sacred values as true civilizational pillars.
The Dance School Lugar Presente aims to provide the community with a high quality educational service, giving an effective response to its different needs, taking into account the unique and dynamic character of this school and promoting a cooperative attitude with the educational comunity and local comunity.
